Starting April 2, 2012, the EMBC’12 Paper Submission site is open for submission of only:
Late-Breaking Research Papers
These are 1-page papers that summarize very recent research results or ongoing research developments. Abstracts of accepted 1-page late-breaking research papers will be available in the Conference Abstracts Book in printed form but will not be published in the Conference Proceedings or indexed by IEEE Xplore, or Medline/PubMed. Accepted papers will be presented as posters in specially designated poster sessions.
Undergraduate Research or Design Papers
The corresponding author must be registered as a full-time undergraduate student at the time of submission of the paper. The submitted 1-page paper should provide a summary of an original research or design project carried out by the corresponding author during the past one to three years. Abstracts of accepted 1-page undergraduate research/design papers will be available in the Conference Abstracts Book in printed form but will not be published in the Conference Proceedings or indexed by IEEE Xplore, or Medline/PubMed. Accepted papers will be presented as posters in specially designated poster sessions.
Mini-Symposium Papers
If you have been invited to present a talk at a mini-symposium, you will be required to submit a 1-page paper. Accepted 1-page papers of mini-symposium sessions will be available in the Conference Abstracts Book in printed form but will not be published in the Conference Proceedings or indexed by IEEE Xplore, or Medline/PubMed.

An alphanumeric code, provided by the session organizer, is required for paper upload.
